Dr. Lewis earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology here in San Diego, with an emphasis in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and has been providing clinical care to patients since 2017. Dr. Lewis’ doctoral research focused on the interplay between internalized shame, attachment styles, and emotion regulation within adult romantic relationships. This academic background deeply informs her work with individuals seeking to navigate intimacy, understand relationship patterns, and build healthier emotional connections. She completed her APA-accredited internship at a university student health and counseling center, where she developed a strong passion for supporting emerging adults navigating post-graduation life and career decisions.
