Christine Mason, MA

Christine Mason received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University and is a registered Associate Marriage and Family (CA AMFT #164677) Therapist practicing under the supervision of Veronica Solaris, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist (CA PSY #34522). She additionally holds a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting with a focus in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University, where her studies focused on narrative medicine and the role of storytelling in experiences of illness, caregiving, grief, and healing.

Ms. Mason brings more than 15 years of experience working within hospice communities, supporting patients, families, caregivers, and volunteers as they navigate end-of-life experiences, bereavement, and significant life transitions. Her professional background also includes training as a death doula, creating collaborative documentary theatre, and facilitating collective grief gatherings that use storytelling, creativity, ritual, and community connection to explore experiences of love, loss, meaning, and remembrance.

Her clinical interests include grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, caregiving, identity exploration, life transitions, and the search for meaning during times of change. She strives to create a therapeutic space in which clients feel deeply heard, understood, and supported as they explore and give voice to their experiences.

Ms. Mason considers it a privilege to accompany clients as they move toward greater understanding, connection, and meaningful change.

“I believe healing begins when people feel deeply heard, understood, and supported in telling their stories. Together, we can create a space where curiosity, compassion, and connection foster healing and growth.”
